About Me

Nate was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he dabbled in art from a young age but did not really start painting until his early twenties when he began making abstract paintings. In 2009 he made his way out to Oregon, where the mountains and natural beauty inspired him to go back to school and study art. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Art Practices from Portland State University, focusing primarily on painting and sculpture. His years in the Pacific Northwest were mostly spent painting landscapes and various nerdy pop culture pieces. In 2022 he moved back to Wisconsin and switched to mostly using oil paint and focusing on plein air painting.
