About Me

Nate was born and raised in the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin. He dabbled in art from a young age but did not start painting regularly until his early twenties when he started making abstract and pop culture-inspired paintings. In 2009 he made his way out to Oregon, where the mountains and natural beauty inspired him to go back to school and study art. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Art Practices from Portland State University, focusing primarily on painting and sculpture. In 2022 he moved back to Wisconsin and these days he can be found wandering all over the state looking for interesting locations to paint. When he isn’t painting outdoors he likes to get back to roots making nerdy pop art paintings and heavily textured abstract paintings to connect his interests of sculpture and painting.
